Appointment & Cancellation Policy
At Dentessence Diamond Creek, our goal is to provide every patient with timely, high-quality dental care in a supportive and respectful environment. To make this possible for everyone, we have a cancellation policy in place that allows us to manage appointments effectively and minimise wait times.
By providing at least 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes, you help us offer your reserved time to another patient who may be waiting for care — especially those with urgent needs.
Why This Policy Matters for Patients:
- Improved Access to Care: When we have notice of cancellations, we can offer that time to patients on our waiting list, helping others receive care sooner.
- Respect for Your Time: Our scheduling system is designed to run on time — fewer last-minute changes mean more reliable appointment times for all patients.
- Greater Availability: Efficient scheduling allows us to keep appointment times accessible for everyone in our care.
Cancellation & Non-Attendance Fees:
- Less than 48 hours’ notice: A cancellation fee of $100 per hour of your scheduled appointment may apply.
- Missed appointments (no-show): The same fee will apply if no notice is given. A 20% deposit for future appointments will also be required which can be used against any scheduled appointments .
